Once upon a time there was a curious little girl called Silvia who came from a funny little country called Italy. She grew up in a magical land called Veneto, in a tiny village at the foot of the Prosecco hills. She had a very happy childhood, living outdoors, surrounded by nice people who taught her about life and the secrets of cooking, but she longed to see the world.
So one day she told mum and dad that she wanted to go to university in the kingdom of Milan. Her parents could not say no to their very determined girl so off she went to the big city. Silvia enjoyed very much her years at the noble institution of Bocconi and had lots of fun participating in the magical world of fashion and meeting new and strange people in the mysterious circle of AIESEC (Association Internationale des Etudiantes de Sciences, Economiques e Commerciales). And it was here that our Silvia met and fell in love with her Prince Charming – a funny, dark haired, Pugliese guy who shared her passion for the world and good food and made her laugh all the time.
However, Milan was not enough for our girl so she packed her beloved cooking tools and shoes and travelled north to Brussels, the chocolate city. There she heard about a strange people called The Irish and went to live amongst them in their capital Dublin. But even this was not enough. She went to get a taste of the huge country called the USA in North Carolina and California, and what an adventure that was!
Finally, on one grey and cold October day in 2002, a grey flying machine took her to London, where she landed with her suitcase full of ideas, passion, hope and ...more shoes.
Then on a sunny, spring day of year 2003 our little girl met a strange Magician called Chris Hughes who showed her his magic kingdom of events and asked her to come and work in his Land called Brand Events to help create fun and joy for lots of people. And since then, dear readers, she has been having the ride of her life and has never looked back. But we know the adventure is not over for the little girl called Silvia..... so watch this space!
